The Lakeland brand first appeared in the late 1970’s and has since developed into the current great tasting range of fresh dairy products that are available in many outlets across the Lake District and beyond.
In 2003 the Lakeland Dairy became part of Dale Farm, a UK dairy food processor which is owned by dairy farmers. Dale Farm takes great pride in supplying only the highest quality dairy products and since taking ownership of the Kendal dairy it has invested heavily in developing the company’s facilities and the products produced there.
We use fresh, locally sourced milk which is why we are confident that our product quality is second to none. And to ensure that our products continue to be among the very best we have a dedicated development team who are constantly looking at improving our products.
