Summer Strawberry yogurt Shakes

Summer Strawberry Yoghourt Shakes

This easy to make strawberry sensation looks and tastes great – perfect to accompany the pancakes.

Serves: 4
Suitable for vegetarians

Ingredients

  • Double or whipping cream, 4 tablespoons
  • Strawberries, 350g (12oz), stalks removed
  • Loseley Strawberries and Jersey Cream yogurt, 300g (10oz)
  • Milk, 900ml (1 1/2 pints)

Method

  1. Whip the cream in a chilled bowl until it holds its shape. Set aside whilst you make the drinks. Reserve a few slices of strawberry for decoration, then put the rest into a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the Loseley Strawberries and Jersey Cream yogurt strawberry jam and milk, and then blend for about 15-20 seconds until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses and decorate with the whipped cream and strawberries.
  3. Serve at once or cover and chills in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes, where the milk shakes will thicken slightly.

COOK’S TIP: Add a banana to the blender for more thickness and flavour.
