Greek Yogurts Wins On Great Taste At Food Oscars
Spelgas great taste has now been officially recognised when the leading Northern Ireland dairy company scooped up a coveted silver award for its new Bio Greek Style yogurt in the UK and Ireland-wide 2006 Great Taste Awards.
Referred to as the food Oscars, the Great Taste Awards provide the benchmark for speciality fine food and drink in the UK and Ireland with over 4,500 products being blind-tasted by a panel of culinary experts and awarded solely on a range of taste factors.
Spelgas Bio Greek Style yogurt which was launched in January this year, and is available in two flavours – strawberry compote and heather honey Рis the only local brand of Greek Style to be listed by the multiple retailers and has already successfully gained a 5% share of the speciality yogurt market.
